• Check-in desks at the airport
    • At the time of the ticket purchase inform the airline if your luggage is oversized or you would like to carry dangerous goods or you travel with a living animal.
    • When you pack your luggage or hand luggage keep the relevant instructions of the airline in mind.
    • Arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure.
    • Remove the previous luggage-labels from your baggage.
    • Put your documents and medications required to the travelling into your hand luggage. 
    • Hand over your travel documents, airline ticket, reservation code, luggage and hand luggage at the check-in desk.
    • You will receive your valid boarding pass and the luggage-labels of your checked-in baggage at the check-in desk.
    • Go with your valid boarding pass to the security check, passport control and then wait for boarding at the gate. 

 

  • Passengers with special needs
    • Inform the airline or the travel agency if you have any special requests on arrival at or departure from the airport, please.
    • During the operation hours of the airport it is free of charge to meet special requests. 
    • If you require any special needs, please indicate the nature and the extent of the problem, so that we can prepare for the adequate and safe assistance. 
    • The regulation 1107/2006 of the European Union will apply to the provision of passengers with special needs.  

 

  • Security check
    • Before you arrive at the boarding gate you have to undergo a security check. 
    • Always follow the instructions of the security staff. To help make the control smooth, please place your hand-luggage into the cart, remove your outer wear, shoes and metal objects, and empty your pockets before you go through the security gate.  
    • The maximum size of the liquids that can be transported in the hand-luggage is 100 ml/item. These must be kept in a resealable bag and presented to the security personnel. 
    • The allowed size of the hand-luggage is usually 55x40x20 cm, which may vary depending on the airlines as well as the class and destination of the flight.

 

  • Passport control
    • If you want to travel to a country that is not a member of Schengen Area, you must undergo a passport control before you arrive at the boarding gate (1.).  
    • A valid passport or identity card entitles you to travel.
    • A valid driving licence is not considered as a valid travel document, so you cannot fly with it. 

 

  • Lost or damaged luggage
    • If your baggage is missing or damaged at the time of your arrival, please contact the ticketing staff or the information desk.
